A fruit cage of truly magnificent proportions

The gardens of one of the the most beautiful of houses in Norfolk has many secrets.   One of them is an 8.3 meter high green oak fruit cage built by Michael.   It was specifically designed to weather gracefully over quite a short period of time.   And, here a few years on, you can see how effective it looks in the walled fruit, herb and vegetable garden.

…and an intriguing pavilion

In another corner of the gardens, embellished with antlers, is a summerhouse built in the shade by the McNamara team to bring welcome relief to admirers of these beautiful grounds.
